Applications
2. Video Standards Conversion (converts between PAL / NTSC / Secam etc.)
The video standards conversion application can convert, at a very high quality, many international video formats to many other formats. This includes analogue composite and digital component formats and different frame and field rates (e.g. 60Hz to 50Hz).
Typically, this would be used in fields of operation where mixed video standards are in use and incompatible images need to be shared, viewed or processed.
For example, if a US video source (such as NTSC) needed to be processed within a European system (such as PAL) then a Standards Conversion may be required.
